It features a four stage filtration system. The first is a sediment/carbon prefilter designed to remove particles such as silt, rust, and scale along with chlorine, taste  and odors. The second is the RO membrane where the majority of the dissolved solids and other substances are flushed into the drain's water stream and exit the system. It filters out substances reducing them so that the water becomes Millennium Reverse Osmosis Water. The third stage is the Post Filter. It filters any remaining tastes and odors before the water enters the storage tank. The fourth stage is the Polishing Filter. Before the water reaches the faucet, it is flows through this final filter which has activated carbon. This extra filter assures you of good tasting, crystal clear water.
